February 8th, 2012 by Kha14 Leave a reply »

This Suzuki Grand Vitara review lists the strong points of this 4×4 vehicle. However, it mentions its weak points as well. In this regard, you’ll read a balanced review.

The Suzuki Grand Vitara is an off-road sports utility vehicle. It’s an average vehicle compared to other vehicles belonging in the same class. It’s not a great vehicle but it’s not a bad one either. It comes with a few good features. However, for how much it costs, a buyer can find a better vehicle.

However, the Suzuki Grand Vitara’s strong suit, among many, is its warranty. It has an excellent and lengthy powertrain warranty. It has a decent amount of cargo space and its brake system is good. The Vitara has all of the standard features car buyers have come to know and love. The Vitara also has a good price.

The Vitara has a number of weak points, as mentioned earlier. For one, the Vitara doesn’t have that much power for a 4×4. This may be a problem for someone who does a lot of highway driving. Not being able to accelerate quickly and the lack of general, overall power may be problematic. Now, this won’t be a big deal for everyone. A person that does a lot of city driving and who doesn’t need to go particularly fast may not have an issue with the fact the Vitara is a bit lacking in this regard.

Another issue with the Vitara is that it has very little interior storage compartments. There aren’t a lot of places to put things. It can also be problematic to ride in the Vitara for long distances. The ride can get very uncomfortable. However, this is a problem for some people, not necessarily everyone. Those who tend to drive long distances or spend a lot of time driving for hours are better off looking at a different vehicle. People who hardly travel far or often may be perfectly fine with the Vitara.

The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a decent SUV. It’s highly debatable whether or not the Vitara is among the best small 4×4 vehicles around. The Vitara does have its strong points. However, it lacks a number of crucial features. Individuals in the market for a small 4 x 4 vehicle may want to consider their other options before settling on this one.

The lack of power, interior storage compartment and comfort when driving or riding for long distances, definitely go against the Vitara. As for the Vitara’s strong points, its powertrain warranty is lengthy, its brake system is pretty good, and it comes with all the standard features for 4×4 vehicles. Are these enough to trump the weak points? It really depends on the buyer. Hopefully, this Suzuki Grand Vitara review has been helpful for people in the market for a small 4 x 4 vehicle.
